QOTD: What’s your favorite reading format?⁣ ⁣ I ge QOTD: What’s your favorite reading format?⁣
⁣
I generally prefer the digital formats for their convivence, but it’s hard to beat the feeling of physically turning the pages of a book.⁣
⁣
And mass market paperbacks are such a nice coinvent size.⁣
⁣
What are you hoping to finish before the end of the month?⁣

QOTD: Do you reread books before reading their seq QOTD: Do you reread books before reading their sequels?⁣
⁣
I usually do since I have a terrible memory but decided to skip rereading Shield of Sparrows and dove right into Rites of the Starling.⁣
⁣
And was immediately confused.⁣
⁣
Maybe I should have at least looked up some recaps first because I totally forgot what happened in the first book. 😅⁣
⁣
I just don’t have time to reread right now and I don’t want to wait to read Rites of the Starling since I’m already starting to see spoilers. Which often negatively impact my reading experience.
⁣
Do spoilers affect your enjoyment of books?⁣

QOTD: What are you currently reading?⁣ ⁣ I’m curre QOTD: What are you currently reading?⁣
⁣
I’m currently listening to Enemies to Lovers by Alisha Rai.⁣
⁣
I managed to nab it on read now on NetGalley and I’m enjoying it so far.⁣
⁣
I’m hoping to finish it while at work today. 😅⁣
⁣
—⁣
⁣
Did I reused my old photo of Partners in Crime and photoshop the cover of its sequel over it? Maybe… 😉⁣

QOTD: How do you feel about spin offs?⁣ ⁣ I heard QOTD: How do you feel about spin offs?⁣
⁣
I heard Divergent is getting a spin off (or books set in an alternate universe?) and I’m kind of interested to see where it goes.⁣
⁣
The first book is one of my favorite dystopians, but I still haven’t read the rest of the series, despite owning all the books.⁣
⁣
Maybe it’s finally time to read them and get them off my physical tbr. 🤔⁣
⁣
Are you good with finishing series?⁣

QOTD: How do you track your reading?⁣ ⁣ I’ve been QOTD: How do you track your reading?⁣
⁣
I’ve been using Storygraph and my reading journal, but I’ve been seeing some new reading apps that sound fun to test.⁣
⁣
And I’m thinking about also reviving my goodreads accout for the social aspect.⁣
⁣
But that seems like a lot of duplicate work.⁣
⁣
And it doesn’t help that I’m in a bit of a reading slump at the moment.⁣

QOTD: Favorite elements of special editions?⁣ ⁣ I QOTD: Favorite elements of special editions?⁣
⁣
I love the additional artwork in this edition of One For My Enemy. They’re printed into the book so it’s always a little treat to see them as I go through all the sections of the novel.⁣
⁣
They’re all beautiful, but this character art near the epilogue of the book has to be my favorite.⁣
⁣
I’m honestly tempted to see if I can buy it as a print, even though I’m terrible at displaying the prints I have.⁣
⁣
Do you display your bookish artwork/swag or do you keep them in storage?⁣

QOTD: What’s your favorite series?⁣ ⁣ One of mine QOTD: What’s your favorite series?⁣
⁣
One of mine is The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken.⁣
⁣
It’s such a great YA dystopian series that has the perfect blend of an interesting plot and well written characters and found family.⁣
⁣
And I owe it a lot.⁣
⁣
It’s the book that got me back into reading in high school and also led me to discover book blogging, which eventually led me to bookstagram.⁣
⁣
But because it means so much to me, I’m kind of terrified to reread it, even though I have in the past. 😅⁣
