QOTD: What were you doing in 2016?⁣ ⁣ 2016 was a p QOTD: What were you doing in 2016?⁣
⁣
2016 was a pretty big year for me. Between the last few months of high school and graduation, saying goodbye to childhood friends, and starting college, I had a lot going on.⁣
⁣
All while trying to post every work day and publish a blog post every week.⁣ 😅
⁣
It’s kind of crazy how much can change in 10 years.⁣
⁣
On another note, the upcoming winter Olympics is making me want to reread Being Sloane Jacobs - it’s a story of two Sloanes, one a figure skater and the other a hockey player, who meet by chance and decide to trade places.⁣
⁣
Do you have a favorite sports romance?⁣

QOTD: How’s your reading going this month?⁣ ⁣ Mine QOTD: How’s your reading going this month?⁣
⁣
Mine has been going slowly, and I’ve definitely made zero progress on my physical tbr.⁣
⁣
I’m completely out of shelf space to the point where I’m kind of concerned my shelves might collapse, but I have such a hard time unhauling books I haven’t read.⁣
⁣
And such a hard time reading books I already own. 🤦🏻‍♀️⁣
⁣
I think part of it is that there’s no urgency, so I’d rather focus on upcoming releases or my expiring Libby holds, that books on my shelves have become a bit of a low prioity.⁣
⁣
That’s going to change this year, though!⁣
⁣
(I hope).⁣
⁣
Here’s to shelf improvement!⁣
⁣
Do you have any tips on how to work through your physical TBR?⁣

QOTD: What are some of your favorite adaptations?⁣ QOTD: What are some of your favorite adaptations?⁣
⁣
Honestly, To All the Boys is still one of mine.⁣
⁣
I think I might actually prefer the movie over the books. 😅⁣
⁣
Are there any adaptations you’re looking forward to?⁣

QOTD: How do you keep track of sequels and anticip QOTD: How do you keep track of sequels and anticipated releases?⁣
⁣
I just normally look up the book online, whenever I remember there’s a sequel planned. 😅⁣
⁣
So I’ve just been refreshing the details on Alpha & Omega book 7 for a year or so ever since I finished book 6 in 2024.⁣
⁣
I accidently read Cry Wolf before reading Mercy Thompson and tbh, I prefer the spin off more? I devoured all the Alpha & Omega books (I love a good mix of mystery, fantasy, and romance), but I’m still slowly working my way through the original series.⁣
⁣
Do you enjoy spinoffs?⁣

QOTD: What are some of your bookish goals this yea QOTD: What are some of your bookish goals this year?⁣
⁣
One of mine is to read the entire Guild Hunter series by Nalini Singh.⁣
⁣
It’s become one of my favorite series these last few years and I cannot wait to read the last book when it comes out in May.⁣
⁣
Funny enough, with the collection of novellas, there are 19 books in the series and Archangel’s Eternity will be released on May 5th, which is part of the 19th week of the year.⁣
⁣
So I’m hoping to read one book every week leading up to the release date.⁣
⁣
I’ve already reread the first book, Angels’ Blood (it was my first read of the year), but I’m already running a little behind on reading the second. 😅⁣

QOTD: Are there any books that you reread every ye QOTD: Are there any books that you reread every year?⁣
⁣
Not so much every year, exactly, but there definitely are a few that I tend to revisit every year or so.⁣
⁣
An Unfinished Memory by Marie Johnston is one of them.⁣
⁣
I love a good second chance romance with some angst and yearning and An Unfinished Memory hits that spot so well.⁣
