QOTD: Do you have any plans this weekend?⁣ ⁣ I’m p QOTD: Do you have any plans this weekend?⁣
⁣
I’m planning on staying home where I have AC. Summer hasn’t even officially started and we’re already getting 90°F (32°C) weather.⁣
⁣
Hopefully, I’ll use the time to finally get around to adding my book reviews for some more recent reads into my reading journal.⁣

QOTD: What are you currently reading?⁣ ⁣ I’m readi QOTD: What are you currently reading?⁣
⁣
I’m reading Half City right now and I’m enjoying it so far.⁣
⁣
It seems like it fits my mood for something fast paced and plot heavy.⁣
⁣
Hopefully, it stays that way. And hopefully I can finish it before it returns itself tomorrow.⁣
⁣
What are you in the mood for?⁣

QTOD: What's a city you'd like to visit this summe QTOD: What's a city you'd like to visit this summer?⁣
⁣
Honestly, I’d love to explore any city besides my hometown at this point.⁣
⁣
But travel is kind of pricey lately so I guess I’m just going to try sticking to Philly and NYC (they’re the closest major cities), even if I’d love to make it back to the US west coast, or even outside of the US, some day this year.⁣
⁣
Hopefully, I will have actually read The Last Night at the Telegraph Club by the time I visit San Francisco again to see family. 😅⁣
⁣
Do you theme your books for travel?⁣

QOTD: What are your favorite type of photos to see QOTD: What are your favorite type of photos to see/take?⁣
⁣
It’s hard to pick a favorite since it depends on the vibe I’m going for and the general setup.⁣
⁣
But when I love a good flatlay.⁣

QOTD: What are you hoping to read this month?⁣ ⁣ I QOTD: What are you hoping to read this month?⁣
⁣
I’m honestly just hoping to make some progress on any of my different TBRs.⁣
⁣
As you can see, they’re all pretty overwhelming.⁣
⁣
My physical TBR is in terrible shape.⁣
⁣
My Libby holds are a mess.⁣
⁣
And I totally overcommitted on NetGalley.⁣
⁣
Do you have any tips on tackling your TBR?⁣

QOTD: How your May?⁣ ⁣ Mine was kind of weird. It QOTD: How your May?⁣
⁣
Mine was kind of weird. It was just a bunch of ups and downs and I’m not sure if it’s because I’m STILL in a bit of a reading slump or if I just chose the wrong books to read.⁣
⁣
I ended up reading some hyped books and I’ve never been more confused on how to rate them. Maybe it’s because I was cranky or because my rating system is all skewed and mess up. 🤷🏻‍♀️⁣
⁣
Either way, I’m glad that month is over.⁣

What are you looking forward to in June?⁣

I’m hoping We Hunt the Flame will become my new favorite… when I finally read it.⁣
⁣
I’m just waiting for my Libby hold of it and its sequel to become available.⁣
⁣
I know, technically I could read my physical copy, but digital formats are just so much more convenient. 😅⁣

What’s your preferred reading format? ⁣
