This Week on Paging Serenity:

  • Investigated
  • Waiting on Wednesday
  • Armchair BEA

I’ll only have one full day of school next week on Thursday so I’m pretty happy. And Sarah Dessen will being at my local B&N that day, so it can’t be that bad (unless of course, my mom refuses to take me). This is why I need to learn how to drive…

If I’m being honest, I’m kind of tired about all the BEA talk. Probably because I’m jealous and sad I can’t go even though I literally live like an hour and half train ride away. I’ll be doing Armchair BEA though!

How was your week?
Enjoy your books!

  1. Great haul! I will be looking forward to your review on Not a Drop to Drink, I am very curious about it 🙂 What a pity you won’t be able to go for BEA! I am incredibly jealous too 🙁 Times like these I wish I was from the US 😛 What is Armchair BEA?

  2. The Pledge sounds really intriguing, I’ve been eyeing it for a while now. Looking forward to see what you thought about it 🙂 Have a lovely Saturday!

  3. I also gave into the BookOutlet Mother’s Day sale (that site will be the death of my bank account), and they gave me a $5 off just to keep the cycle going. Ahhhh! And YAY! You’re almost finished with school, and I hope you get to meet Sarah!

  4. YAY! I love Book Outlet (especially when they’re having a sale!). I hope you enjoy them all! I’m going to BEA this year for one day (Thursday), but I have a feeling it’ll be the last time for a while. It’s moving to Chicago next year and who knows where after that. New York is a two hour drive, so that’s not a problem, but I can’t afford to fly there! Oh, well, I guess I’ll try to enjoy this year as much as I can!

  5. Great haul! That’s awesome that you only have one full day of school next week. Plus Sarah Dessen? I really hope you get to go! Not a Drop to Drink has been sitting on my shelves for a while. I really need to read it. Can’t wait to hear what you think! 🙂

  6. I guess with living an hour away you wouldn’t need to pay for a plane ticket or hotel to go to BEA, but I got to thinking about it. And when the cost is all added up, I could totally buy ALL of those books AND MORE and stay at my lovely home. Meeting all of the authors and listening to discussion panels would be cool, but I don’t enjoy being in huge crowds of people so I’ve pretty much decided that I’ll never make it to BEA, but that’s okay with me. Maybe I’ll see you around Armchair BEA. Have a great week!

  7. What is armchair BEA? can I do it, too? lol. I am really close as well. Sigh, I wish I could afford to go.
Nice haul. Not a Drop to Drink looks really good. Happy reading!
