BOOK HAUL:
Borrowed from library:
Delirium
by Lauren Oliver
Time for another reread. Delirium is the only one that I have read in the trilogy… should I read the other two or will reading them ruin my opinion of Delirium (which is pretty high, by the way)?
Last Week on Icy Cold Reads:
- Investigated – The Problems with Shipping Characters
- Mission: Recommend – Blind Date a Book
- Waiting on Wednesday – When My Heart Was Wicked by Tricia Stirling
- Mission: Recommend – If You Liked If I Stay by Gagyle Forman…
This Week on Icy Cold Reads:
- Investigated
- Waiting on Wednesday
- Thoughtful?
- Review ?
I’m so excited! I have a three day weekend off from school and then Thursday off too! This is great. Time to catch up on replying to comments, scheduling posts, prepping for the SAT, reading, and SLEEPING.
Oh, and if you need a date for Valentine’s Day, I can set you up with one you might like to read. Just fill out the form on Mission: Recommend – Blind Date a Book!
Oh, and does anyone still follow blogs via Networked Blogs? It was pretty big when I first started but know I might get rid of it. Let me know if you still use it though./p>
How was your week?
Enjoy your books!
Delirium is one of my all time favorite books. I’ve heard that most people don’t like the rest of the series, though I absolutely loved the second one even more than the first one. I’ve yet to read the last one though. I hope you like it. 🙂
Krystianna @ Downright Dystopian
I happen to own Pandemonium so maybe I’ll read it after I finish Delirium.
Thanks for stopping by Krystianna! 🙂
Delirium is one of those books that I never got a chance to get to, I should really give it a go! Enjoy your break from school and I hope you enjoy your books this week! 🙂
You can visit my Sunday post here!
Delirium is really well written. Although I’ve heard some people don’t like the rest of the books in the trilogy nearly as much.
Thanks for stopping by Ee! 🙂
I haven’t read this one but happy reading!
Tsuki’s STS
Thanks for stopping by Tsuki! 🙂
I haven’t read Delirium, it looks really good though!
Delirium is pretty good. I’ve heard mixed things about the rest of the trilogy though.
Thanks for stopping by Karen! 🙂
I haven’t read any of Lauren Oliver though I have read good things about her. I understand your hesitancy. I stopped reading Hunger Games with the first book because I didn’t want anything else bad to happen to the characters. Have a great week!
I really liked reading the two Lauren Oliver books I’ve read (Delirium and Before I Fall) so you should give her books a go.
Thanks for stopping by Katherine! 🙂
Happy reading and sleeping in! LOL I got rid of Networked blogs because I don’t do much with Facebook anymore either. I like the new TSU and am curious where that will go.
My Sunday Post – http://fuonlyknew.com/2015/02/15/whats-new-on-my-bookshelf-97-and-the-sunday-post/
I just got rid of it too. You’re right it really is Facebook focused. I’m going to have to check TSU out. I’ve heard pretty good things about it.
Thanks for stopping by Laura! 🙂
I really liked Pandemonium (even more than Delirium) but then things went extremely downhill in Requiem. I hope it doesn’t ruin your opinion of this one 🙁
-Jon from Bookish Antics!
I guess I’ll give Pandemonium a try. And then pretend Requiem doesn’t exist… we’ll see how well that works.
Thanks for stopping by Jon! 🙂
Delerium is on my to-read list. I hope you enjoy your reread of it! Happy Reading!
Here’s my STS.
