I got this idea from school and one of my old blog posts. Valentine’s Day is coming up so one of the clubs is doing “Data Matching” where you basically fill out a form and they’ll try to match you with someone else. And last year, to celebrate Valentine’s Day, I (tried) to send people on blind dates with some books. Pair the two together and I now, for some reason, feel the urge to play matchmaker…
The concept is simple. If you want to go on a (blind) date with a book, just fill out the form. Then I’ll contact you one way or another through whatever contact info and deliver the name of your date to you. It is then your responsibility to hunt down your date. If you already read, cough, I mean dated, the date I suggested, feel free to reply and ask for a new one. And if you liked how it went, feel free to make me your personal recommendation machine. Giving people book recs (and knowing they liked them) is probably one of my favorite things to do. That being said, if you didn’t like it, I’m sorry but please be respectful about it. And if you have any suggestions to improve the system, please let me know.
I hope you guys enjoy this feature!
Do you have any suggestions?
I love this idea! I filled out the form so I look forward to my date. 😉
I’m glad you like it! Hopefully you’ll like some of them! 😉
Thanks for stopping by Klaudia! 🙂
This is such a cool idea! I filled it out even though I’m a little late… But I’m still looking forward to your recs! I could always use more 🙂
