QOTD: How was your March?⁣ ⁣ March is always a bit QOTD: How was your March?⁣
⁣
March is always a bit of a rollercoaster for me since it’s the last month of the fiscal year at work.⁣
⁣
But overall, it was a pretty decent month, even though I did fall into a bit of a reading slump near the end.⁣
⁣
My March:⁣
⁣
📚 read what’ll probably be my favorite book of the year (Archangel’s Eternity)⁣
⁣
🖤 met up with friends in NYC⁣
⁣
🎭 saw the Chess revival on Broadway (vocals were vocaling)⁣
⁣
💼 survived year end at work⁣

QOTD: Do you have a dream vacation destination?⁣ ⁣ QOTD: Do you have a dream vacation destination?⁣
⁣
Japan is pretty high up on my bucket list and I would love to visit someday.⁣
⁣
It was fun to get a little glimpse of it in Tokyo Ever After.⁣
⁣
I wish I could say I can’t believe it took me 5 whole years to read it, but tbh that’s pretty on par for my physical tbr. 🙈⁣
⁣
It’s such a cute read! ⁣
⁣
I’m still debating if I want to read the sequel, though. I feel like it works as a standalone.⁣

I’m hoping mine will be The Liar’s Crown, but I’m still undecided.⁣

I think I’m in a bit of a slump. 😔⁣

QOTD: Favorite books with yearning?⁣ ⁣ Honestly, t QOTD: Favorite books with yearning?⁣
⁣
Honestly, the yearning and the angst is why second chance romance is one of my favorite tropes.⁣
⁣
Especially when they’re written well enough to hit in the feels.⁣
⁣
And Rewind It Back definitely hit the mark for me - it was one of my favorite books of 2025.⁣
⁣
What’s one of your favorites from last year?⁣

⁣
Honestly, I kind of forgot about These Broken Stars and its series until I found them while reorganizing my shelves.⁣
⁣
Which is kind of crazy to say since I have a poster of the 3rd book in the trilogy hanging above my shelves.⁣
⁣
If I’m honest, it’s been a while since I thought of any of the sci-fi books in my collection. It’s not really a genre I read too often anymore. 😅⁣
⁣
As a sidenote, the covers for this series are some of the prettiest that I own.⁣

Thank you to @entangled_publishing for this beautiful copy of Whisper Sweet Nothings.⁣

I’m hoping to start this one soon but I have a few Libby reads to finish before they expire.⁣

QOTD: What are some of your favorite morally grey QOTD: What are some of your favorite morally grey characters?⁣
⁣
I’ll always have a soft spot for The Cruel Prince for introducing me to anti-heroes and morally grey characters.⁣
⁣
Most of the books I read before all feature heroes or relucent heroes, but I can’t think of any that were more ambiguous.⁣
⁣
But even though I enjoyed this trilogy, I haven’t read the spin-off series. 😅⁣

Do you read spin-off series?⁣
