One of today’s topics is middle school / young adult novels, but I’m just going to focus on YA. And since this is a YA book blog, I’m pretty sure I discussed the benefits of YA before. SO, today I’m just going to share some of my favorites. Now, I organized them by genre, but beware, I’m very bad at distinguishing different genres from each other. Also some books could belong to more than one genre. Also, I tried to include books that are more uncommon so some of them aren’t my absolute favorites.
What are some of your favorite YA books?
I like how you arranged them into more specific lists, super handy!
Thanks for the compliment and for stopping by! 🙂
Love the lists, great suggestions, several I haven’t read yet
I hope you try (and like) some of them!
Thanks for stopping by, Kristina! 🙂
I love the category “unrealistic realistic fiction”; I know so many books which could be put in that category.
I’m glad you like it! To be honest, some books in the realistic fiction section could be in the unrealistic realistic one…
Thanks for stopping by, Trisha! 🙂
I really like how you have these recommendations in shelves. That is really cool. I’ve added some to my TBR 🙂
Thanks, I hope you enjoy the ones you added!
Thanks for stopping by, Julie! 🙂
Excellent selection! Did you ever read Holly Black’s Tithe? Great dark take on fae mythology.
I haven’t read Tithe, but I really enjoyed her Curse Workers series. Got to add that to my TBR, thanks for suggesting it!
Thanks for stopping by, Tellulah! 🙂
I’ve loved a few of those myself. 🙂
Yay for good books and similar tastes!
Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
Thanks for recommending: I’d Tell You I Love You, But Then I’d Have to Kill You (Gallagher Girls). Adding to Goodreads.
You’re welcome! I hope you like it – the Gallagher Girls series is one of my favorites.
Thanks for stopping by, Suzanne! 🙂
I also tried to give some more unknown books in my Armchair BEA Day 5 post, with both YA and my open topic.
You’re awesome for trying to help get the word out about other good books people need to read, but probably don’t know about!
Thanks for stopping by, Karsyn! 🙂
Love the UnRealistic fiction category!! It is realistic… yet not. I’ll have to check out some of the titles I am unfamiliar with.
🙂 I hope you like them!
Thanks for stopping by, Kristen! 🙂
