Okay, I’ll admit it right now, I’m not really a classics girl. Don’t blame me – I like modern stuff. But that doesn’t mean I hate reading classics. The main reason why classics aren’t usually my thing is, well according to my seventh grade teacher, I can be a plot junkie – someone who reads solely for the storyline of the book. In a sense, she’s right. But she’s not totally right. I do enjoy reading the different language classics have, but only up to a certain point. If I have a hard time understanding what the author is talking about, I’ll probably get really bored, really fast.

Are you like me?
Don’t exactly like classics in favor of some more modern books?
I think you will enjoy my favorite classic.
by Harper Lee
Look, I love it so much, I have my own copy of it.
What are you’re favorite classics?

    • Hmmm, I never thought about it like that. I will try that next time I go the library.

Thanks for the suggestion and for stopping by! 🙂

  1. I was just commenting on someone else’s post about the awesome intricate plots in classic books, so see? You should try one! An easy one though. There’s a few out there! 🙂 But I understand, I have a harder time these days keeping my attention focused on them like I used to do. It’s frustrating.

    • I understand that classics have some awesome plot lines it’s just that I get tired of having to continuously stop in the middle of something exciting because I have something else to do. Most of the ones I’ve seen seem so long. Plus the attention problem is also a problem. But I have been introduced to some good classics through school…

      Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
