Today is Day 10 of the 15 Day Book Blogger Challenge hosted by Good Books and Good Wine. If you want to learn more about it, click HERE. Anyways today is Day 10 which means that we are two-thirds through with the challenge!
The topic for Day 10 is…
How do you choose what book to read next?
How I choose what book to read next depends on a few factors. First, if I have an obligation to read a book, that would be my first choice. Meaning if I promised an author a review or am part of a review tour. Mandatory reading for school also plays a part in it. Then I take those books, and read the one that has the closest deadline.
However, if I have no obligation to other people to read a book, then I just pick a random one from my TBR pile and hope the library has it and that it is available to be checked out. But sometimes, I’ll just browse through the library and pick a book there. Other times I’ll look to see what other people are reading. Sometimes I just end up reading sequels to books I loved or the next installment of a series I adored. So, um, yeah, that’s how I pick what book to read next.
That sounds like me. I try so hard to read the ones I’ve got an obligation to read first. Sometimes that’s not always easy and I’ve got a few of those that have been hanging out for a while that I really need to get to.

It just kind of sucks because on one hand I want to read the books I need to read first, but on the other hand, I really want to read a book that I want to read. Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
