“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.

Waiting on Wednesday – I Was Here by Gayle Forman
TITLE: I Was Here
AUTHOR: Gayle Forman
PUBLICATION DATE: January 27, 2015
Goodreads | Amazon | Barnes & Noble

Cody and Meg were inseparable...
Until they weren't.

When her best friend, Meg, drinks a bottle of industrial-strength cleaner alone in a motel room, Cody is understandably shocked and devastated. She and Meg shared everything—so how was there no warning? But when Cody travels to Meg’s college town to pack up the belongings left behind, she discovers that there’s a lot that Meg never told her. About her old roommates, the sort of people Cody never would have met in her dead-end small town in Washington. About Ben McAllister, the boy with a guitar and a sneer, and some secrets of his own. And about an encrypted computer file that Cody can’t open—until she does, and suddenly everything Cody thought she knew about her best friend’s death gets thrown into question.

Gayle Forman is one of my favorite writers… I also know she’s a master at writing sad scenes that tug on your emotions (cough, If I Stay) thus the reason I can’t wait for this one.

What are you waiting on?

    • You should definitely give her books a try! If I Stay is probably one of my favorites of all time. It took a while to get into, but in the end it was all worth it.

Thanks for stopping by Sarah! 🙂

    • Haha, I actually found out she has a new book on Twitter too! Gotta love that site. And thank you, I’m really glad you like the name change! 🙂

Thanks for stopping by Leila! 🙂

    • I know. I’m not sure if I’ll ever be in the mood for a sad book, but on the bright side, Gayle can do sad pretty well…

Thanks for stopping by Em! 😀
