This week I was fortunate enough to get Blackbird by Anna Carey and Exquisite Captive by Heather Demetrios before my mom banned me from buying more books. I brought them and got them both signed at the Epic Reads Fall Tour. That event was awesome, and I’ll post a recap as soon as I’m free (I have more pics that I’m trying to save for that post).
I’ve heard great things about this one so I can’t wait to start reading it.

This was an interesting week. It was homecoming week at my high school, I went to the Epic Reads Fall Tour on Tuesday, and I have to take the PSAT next week. Nowadays it always feels like my life is being fast forwarded. If only I could pause for a second (or an hour or two)…

Exquisite Captive looks awesome! I’ve never read a Jinn type book before, I hope you enjoy it!
Great haul, especially since you managed to get them both signed. I love the cover for Exquisite Captive but must admit to having to DNF at 62%, I just could not get into that book. I really want to read Blackbird though, it looks so good. I hope you enjoy your reads this week 🙂 Here’s my STS.

I’m wanting to read Blackbird. Hear good things about it. I love getting signed print books. It’s like Christmas every time I get one in the mailbox!
Epic Reads is the coolest. Too bad they don’t do anything in Canada. Booo. I hope you do well in your PSATs. Also I’ve never heard of any of these books, but I’ll be adding to gr.
