It was free and right fits in the category of the type of books I like so…

This Week on Icy Cold Reads:

  • 5 Reasons Why Books are Banned & 10 Reasons Why You Should Read Them Anyways
  • Waiting on Wednesday
  • Thoughtful?
  • Review ?

The worst part about autumn is not the start of school (I know, I can’t believe I just wrote that either -_-), but the start of the spread of diseases. The evil cold was going around the school and now it captured me too. :'( Moving on to more important matters…

Banned Books Week (sponsored by the American Library Association) is next week so I challenge you all to read at least one known banned book (or recommend one to others)! Help spread the freedom to read what we want and to combat those who ban books for the stupidest reasons.

Also, The Maze Runner is now playing in theaters in the USA (and lots of other places) so go watch it and support it! 🙂

How was your week?
Enjoy your books!

  1. It seems like abought every third blog I’ve visited today has someone down with a cold or the flu. Doesn’t it seem to be a bit early this year. I hope you feel better soon:)
I just received the print trilogy of The Maze Runner to giveaway in the Spooktacular Giveaway Hop. I didn’t even open the box so I wouldn’t be tempted to read them. LOL I got mine as eBooks and not sure if I should read them before or after the movie?
