Today is the first day of school sorry I mean the Back to School Book Blogger Challenge hosted by Rachel @ Parajunkee. Classes (I mean the challenge) takes place over the course of nine days. And you can see the lesson plan below to learn more about what we will be learning / teaching on each day.
My Most Memorable School Memory
This is kind of a hard one since I still have a few “key” memories to make. But my favorite so far are pretty much all from elementary school (Kindergarten to 3rd Grade) or Upper Elementary school (grades 4 and 5). I don’t know why, but it’s probably because back then, grades didn’t really matter and I didn’t have a lot other responsibilities.
My favorite memory (and also the most memorable) is from when I was in 1st grade, so around 9 years ago, in 2005. My elementary school (at that time, we moved the same summer) was celebrating its 100th birthday and in turn had a huge celebration. It was a school wide event. One day, they got everyone in the school to stand in the shape of “100”. It was a really cool picture. Everyone got “glasses” with the 100 on top. Think the glasses everyone gets during the new year. Except instead of the year… And there was a huge organized fun day. There were giant bubbles (my favorite when I was 6), a pie eating contest, pony rides and much more. It was such a fun day. And was a really nice way to remember my time there, as it occurred a week or two before my last day of school there.
What is your more memorable school memory?
Nice memory. 100 years, that sure is a milestone!
Yeah, I still can’t believe it made it to 100 years.
Thanks for stopping by Sharon! 🙂
Happy memory then ! The only memory that comes up for me is the : “you, go to the blackboard” because I was taller than the other pupils and my head was more noticeable, lol !
Ouch, I feel for you. That couldn’t have been very fun.
Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
