Today is Day 5 of the 15 Day Book Blogger Challenge hosted by Good Books and Good Wine. If you want to learn more about it, click HERE. Day 5 means that we’re a third through the challenge! 🙂
The topic for Day 5 is…
Recommend a tear jerker.
Once again I am reminded why this a challenge. It takes a lot for me to cry because of a book. The last one remember crying while reading is…
by Gayle Forman
I just thought it was just so beautifully written. Mia’s story really resonated with me. I still cry when I reread it, even though I already know what happens. But it’s been awhile since I last read it, so I don’t quite remember what really stuck out to me that I could say without giving away the ending. (And before anyone says anything, yes, I do know that the cover is the old one. It’s just the one of the book I have so…)
What tear jerker would you recommend?
This has been a very popular answer with this question. I still haven’t read If I Stay, but I do have it on my TBR shelf. Thanks for sharing!
If I Stay is definitely worth a read. I’m glad other people thought it was a tear jerker too – I’m not the only one who cried! Yay! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
Yes I agree! I was even considering picking If I Stay for my choice but I went with another. My favourite part was the ending. Adam’s speech to Mia just broke my heart. I was really mushy when reading that book. I enjoyed the sequel even more. As much as I liked Mia, it was Adam’s story that I found more compelling. Anyway, good choice!

I totally agree with you. I think I read the ending thousands of times. Where She Went was awesome. It did not disappoint. Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
