“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.

TITLE: Sinner
AUTHOR: Maggie Stiefvater

SYNOPSIS: A standalone companion book to the internationally bestselling Shiver Trilogy.

Sinner follows Cole St. Clair, a pivotal character from the #1 New York Times bestselling Shiver Trilogy. Everybody thinks they know Cole’s story. Stardom. Addiction. Downfall. Disappearance. But only a few people know Cole’s darkest secret — his ability to shift into a wolf. One of these people is Isabel. At one point, they may have even loved each other. But that feels like a lifetime ago. Now Cole is back. Back in the spotlight. Back in the danger zone. Back in Isabel’s life. Can this sinner be saved?

    • I didn’t realize it was a Mercy Falls book either until I looked up the description. I loved the whole series and I don’t want Sinner to ruin my perception of it. We’ll see…

      Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

    • I know right! I was kind of expecting something related to tress and woods like the other three books. Maybe they just changed the cover designer?

      Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

    • Thanks for making me drool and even more impatient to get my hands on it. Gotta reread the other books again first though – kinda forgot what happened… whoops.

  1. Not too big of a fan of the cover. I’ve read the Shiver series, but I’m not too sure if I’m going to pick this one up because I left the Shiver world years ago. However, I do love the author, so I might be persuaded if I see lots of good reviews. 🙂 Nice pick!

    Here’s my WoW.

    • I know the feeling. It’s been so long since Forever came out. I think it’s been, what, 3 years? Kinda of a long time to add on to a series…

      Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
