Today I’ll be showing you guys how to make a sweet treat… in the shape of a book. It’s really simple!
You’ll only need two ingredients. That being said, you might need some other tools. What you need are…
- Fruit by the Foot (or something similar like a Fruit Roll-Up
- A white chocolate bar
- A small knife or a pair of scissors
- Some water (a few drops will do)
Break the chocolate into the blocks. This is why you need a chocolate bar. You’ll only need one block for every book you’re planning to make. So don’t go crazy. You don’t need to break the whole bar into pieces.
If you’re using a Fruit by the Foot, cut the chocolate blocks to fit the height. You want the Fruit by the Foot to be a little taller than than the chocolate since it’s going to be the cover while the chocolate is going the be the pages. I suggest using a knife for this part. Depending on the size of your chocolate, you might be able to skip this step.
While you’re at it, if you want, you can run the knife down three sides of the chocolate a few times to make it look like pages.
Now that the chocolate is the right size, you want to cut the Fruit by the Foot. Unroll the Fruit by the Foot and wrap it around the “pages”, then cut it with a knife (or scissor).
Take the Fruit by the Foot put a few drops of water all over it on the side the pages will go (the side that will be the inside of the cover). Then, place the chocolate on top. Finally wrap the Fruit by the Foot around the chocolate and voila, you’ve got your sweet edible book!
