Hi and welcome to Paging Serenity!

I’m Emily, a book blogger and bookstagrammer, who thought it would be fun to start a blog on a whim ten years ago. Needless to say, I had no idea what I was getting myself into.

I’m a quiet (and awkward) bookworm who loves to read to escape the reality of life, the stress of my 9-to-5 job, and procrastinate on adulting. I should apologize up front for my sarcasm.

I love helping people and recommending and discussing books with others. Besides reading (and blogging), I also love photography, traveling, diy crafts, baking, scrapbooking, and binge-watching TV shows.

Paging Serenity is mostly a book blog with a hint of lifestyle and travel posts. Originally known as Icy Cold Reads, Paging Serenity was created in October 2012. Since then, this has become a place for me to gush and rant about books where my friends in real life are not required to pretend to listen.
