I have decided to try to participate in all of their memes with only one post…thus Weekly Recap. I used to call this feature The Sunday Post – Stacking the Shelves but that title was too long…
I’m baccckkkkk! This time hopefully for good because let’s face it, the last time I came back from hiatus, it didn’t work out very well. I was supposed to be back in September and it’s been two months since I posted anything. But now that I’m done with college apps, obsessing over bands (not quite done with this but…), and finally got used to school, I should be able to spend more time blogging (and reading). 🙂

I won Firebug from Lish McBride and brought everything else. I got to see Scott Westerfeld, Margo Lanagan, and Deborah Biancotti at an author event and get my copy of Zeroes signed by all three, which was super cool. If anyone wants a recap of that event, just let me know and I’ll type it up. 🙂 I’m also hoping to see Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman (love These Broken Stars series) later this month which is why I brought Stormdancer. As for Fangirl, well I heard it was a good book and I needed another book in order to get free shipping from Barnes & Noble…

I’m actually not a big fan of Fangirl but many people adore it. Oh and I combined both posts as well! I usually had weekly recap (only for what I had done/read) on sundays and STS on saturdays but decided to try it out for the first time and I like it :)Welcome back to the blogging world!

I hope you’ll like Fangirl! It’s not that gripping unlike the other books you got, but it has a rather light yet good story. 🙂
A couple of books I’ve heard of there… but it’s good you’re back and I hope everything has settled down a bit for you now.
I really want to read Fangirl as well, but there are always other books that seem to mysteriously arrive on my kindle these days 🙂

Great book haul! I hope everything goes well this time around. This entire year was a lot of ups and downs for my blog as well. School related but also life! It just gets in the way sometimes.
