Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews.
I have decided to try to participate in all of their memes with only one post…thus
The Sunday Post – Stacking the Shelves.

BOOK HAUL:

Borrowed from library:

Shiver

Shiver
by Maggie Stiefvater

I just found out that there’s another book in the series that is coming out soon (check out my Waiting on Wednesday post from this week) so I figured it was time for a reread. It’s been a while since the last time I read this one!

Last Week on Icy Cold Reads:

This Week on Icy Cold Reads:
  • Investigated
  • Waiting on Wednesday
  • New feature?
  • Review ?

I’M BACK! And as you can probably tell, I finally moved to WordPress.org. With the move, the URL of this blog has changed too. Which is kinda causing me some problems… because the URL changed, I want to redirect it to the new URL. But if I do so, I can’t keep my GFC follower widget. That means new people cannot follow via GFC. So if you would please help me, can you take the poll on the sidebar? Or just leave a comment: would you rather have the GFC widget or be able to redirect posts? Oh, and please excuse the formatting issues, if you see any, I’m still trying to get a hang of WordPress.

How was your week?
Enjoy your books!

    • I’m thinking of just dropping it too. It’s not like current followers won’t stay updated – it’s just I can’t get any new ones.

      Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

  1. I didn’t even know there was a GFC widget for WordPress. I have never been to a wordpress blog with one so I don’t know how well it works. Congrats on moving though.. I have wanted to but I will just stick with blogger for now. There is also a big error warning under your comment box in case you didn’t know.

    • Technically there isn’t a specific GFC widget for WordPress.org, but apparently you can add it if you mess with the coding. And thanks for the warning about the error warning!

      Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

    • Yeah, the one downfall of moving to WordPress (besides the cost) is the lost of GFC. 🙁

I know, I can’t wait for Sinner either. July cannot come soon enough!

      Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

  2. You are braver than me, I just feel to scared to convert to WordPress. It’s partly the actual converting process (and things like ‘losing’ stuff – that would make me so nervous and I’ve got no patience to work it all back). But I’ve been on Blogger now for so many years and are so familiar with it … But – absolutely everyone always says they do not regret moving over and it was the best decision. I did take part in your poll.

    • WordPress has a plugin that will do all the converting for you with a click of a button so it’s pretty simple (and hard to mess up). And if it makes you feel better, I don’t think I lost anything in the move… besides GFC.

Thanks for voting and stopping by! 🙂

  3. Congrats on the move! I tried WordPress, but it didn’t work for me personally – hopefully you find it useful 🙂
I really want to read Shiver again – it has been years since I last read that book.
    Have a good week!
