I’m going to be a little MIA for the next week.
I’m taking a vacation with the family.
My mom has been really into taking road trips lately, which means a 6+ hour car drive.
So yeah.
Don’t for get to check out the giveaway! (The link is somewhere above…)

Happy reading!
I’ve always meant to give John Irving a read, but 4 books additions to my TBR pile later, he’s still waiting for his chance.
My haul’s a small one this week, but definitely full of variety – check it out here
I never like summer reading books. O.-
I wish I had better self-control when it came to picking up books. Summer reading…no.

Oh, how I don’t miss summer reading -__- The slowest one for me was for my freshman year- The Lord of the Flies. Took me AGES to get through that mess! Enjoy your vacation (and hopefully your read!)

My STS.
My daughter had summer reading, too. She just finished Native Son and has to write a report on it. I’m so old we never had summer reading for school. 😉 Have a great week!
Forced reading is the worst, even if it turns out to be a book you enjoy. I think I’m just rebellious! Have fun on your trip!

Really enjoyed your Blogger Vs. WordPress post – very helpful. I’m broke too so I’ll be sticking with Blogger.
Have a great week.
Awe, I never really liked the summer reading picks we had in high school either. My daughter had Macbeth for hers.
