The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer

Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews.
I have decided to try to participate in all of their memes with only one post…thus
The Sunday Post – Stacking the Shelves.

BOOK HAUL:

I have mixed feelings about my haul this week.
On one hand I got a book that I really liked reading before.
On the other hand, that was the only book I got.

Brought:

(Starcrossed #1)
by Josephine Angelini

Last Week on Icy Cold Reads:

This Week on Icy Cold Reads:

  • Still not quite sure
  • Waiting on Wednesday
  • Review?
  • New feature?
Obviously I’m still not really back.
But this time I really can’t help it – it was my mom’s fault.
She insists on taking my family on day trips (we went to Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor yesterday, all day). And when we’re not traveling, she has my brother and I doing some homework. Sigh.
Plus, I may or may not have been a little distracted working on some new graphics for the blog.
You’ll get to see some of them soon.

Speaking of vacations…
If you who are planning to visit New Jersey or someplace near New Jersey, it would be nice if you could stop by the Jersey Shore. The actual shore, of course, not the stupid reality show.
The shore is still recovering from Hurricane Sandy and needs all the support it can get.
But evidently “We’re stronger than the storm.”

What did you get?
Leave a comment and I’ll try to visit, but if I don’t read the first paragraph.
Happy reading!
Don’t forget to visit the Jersey Shore if you can! 😀

  1. I actually wasn’t madly in love with Starcrossed. But I know lots of people that were.

Sometimes it’s nice to only bring home one book, though. I feel like it gives me a chance to get caught up. But on the other hand, I like to have lots of reading options, so it’s also nice to bring home lots of goodies.

    Anyway, happy reading 🙂
