The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews.
I have decided to try to participate in all of their memes with only one post…thus The Sunday Post – Stacking the Shelves.

BOOK HAUL:

Because I was basically absent the whole month of August, this is like a whole month’s worth of book hauls…

Borrowed from library:

fixer-feed-emancipated-library

The Fixer by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
Feed by M.T. Anderson
Emancipated by M.G. Reyes

Feed was one of my required summer reading books for school which made it a lot less enjoyable to read. I really liked The Fixer (review to come) and sadly DNFed Emancipated. 🙁

Won:

feuds-torn-avery-hastings-won

Feuds and Torn by Avery Hastings

Thank you St. Martin’s Press and Adventures in YA Publishing for this awesome package!

Shadowshaper by Daniel José Older.

Thank you This Is Teen for this beautiful book!

Last Month on Paging Serenity:

This Week on Paging Serenity:

  • Thoughtful?
  • Review ?

AND I’m back! My blogging burnout is over, well mostly and I hope to make the most of it. On the flip side, I probably won’t have much time since school has started and I’m currently in the middle of the college application process. 🙁 On the bright side, there are some new (and hopefully cool) things to come.

Oh, and don’t forget, my pen pal program for bookworms is still accepting applicants. You can find out more details and sign up here. The program should start in the beginning of October. 🙂

  1. Glad you got over the blogging burnout. I think taking a break is a good thing sometimes as it gives you time to rediscover your mojo and if you don’t, well…. that’s okay too.

  2. That cover of Shadowshapers is attractive and the blurb even more ! I’m glad your burnout is mostly over 😉 Do what you can with your schedule, we won’t disappear, and you must be excited about all these good things to come ! Have a great week-end 😉

  3. So many pretty books this week. Totally jealous. The copy of Feud is beautiful and I didn’t know its sequel had a cover and is out already.

Thanks for sharing such nice images. 😉
