BOOK HAUL:
Brought:
Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen
The Last Time We Say Goodbye by Cynthia Hand
Daughter of Deep Silence by Carrie Ryan
I got all of these beautiful hardcovers from Barnes & Noble. I brought The Last Time We Say Goodbye and Daughter of Deep Silence online and Saint Anything in store – it was my ticket to get my books signed by Sarah. I loved reading the ARC of The Last Time We Say Goodbye (I gave it five stars in my review and Daughter of Deep Silence just sounds so cool and interesting and right up my alley.

I got to meet Sarah Dessen!!! I’m still fangirling two days later. It’s really interesting – last year I was complaining about how no authors stop by my local B&N and this year, so many of them stopped by. Something that makes me really happy, but my mom (and wallet) not so much.
Can you believe that May is almost over? My posts are probably going to be pretty sporadic these next few weeks. I don’t really want to take another hiatus, but I might have to. I only have two weeks left of school before finals and the end of the school year which means a lot of end of the year projects and tests and last minute assignments. Unfortunately for me, that means a lot of work due in a short period of time and school has always come before blogging for me even though I would rather have it the other way around (blogging is more fun and nowadays more rewarding too).
How was your week?
Enjoy your books!
I hauled The Last Time We Say Goodbye this week as well! I am glad to hear that you liked it because I haven’t heard too many reviews. (I will most definitely be checking out your review.)

Great haul this week! I’ve been wanting to check out The last Time We Say Goodbye for a while now. Happy reading!

I love it when authors hit the local store- nothing better than meeting a favorite author! I agree with you about book sizes, BTW- I have some books on my shelf that just stand out or don’t fit right, and it can be aggravating. 🙂
You’re being reasonable, school work comes first – I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you 😉
I hope to get to more author events this year. We had a few stop by my small hometown (in Australia) last year, but none so far this year.
It’s such a great experience.

Love your bookends! Glad you were able to meet Sarah Dessen, it’s always so cool to speak with those we admire.
Hope you’ll be stopping by
I want your bookends. I love owls!! The last time we say goodbye is on the top of my to buy list. Happy Reading 🙂
Look at it this way. After two weeks you’ll be free of school and we’ll still be here:) Nice books this week. Daughter of Deep Silence is on my summer reading list.
My Sunday Post – http://fuonlyknew.com/2015/05/31/whats-new-on-my-bookshelf-111-and-the-sunday-post/
I only got three books in the mail last week and only two were of interest. I really have come to prefer e-book ARCS and don’t ever get to half the books I get in the mail or UPS. Plus I am so behind, sending me a physical book is like finding a goldfish in the ocean.
My sun pos is here BTW: http://fangswandsandfairydust.com/2015/05/sunday-crab.html
Nice haul! I really want to read The Last Time We Say Goodbye since I really liked her other series! & I really want to read Sarah Dessen’s books 🙂
