Just a quick post that I wanted to do. Sorry if it is a little rush, I’m am currently a little less than half asleep. But I wanted to write this post now, before I forget about it.
I can barely believe it. September is now over. September has been an eventful month. But really for me it was an experiment. I went back to school in September and I experimented with how to run the blog and how having schoolwork would effect it. What I found was simple, I got more traffic in the summer time. That should be obvious. I really didn’t have much to do during the summer. And I also didn’t have to wake up at 6:30 in the morning everyday. (Which is why this post will be full of errors if I don’t come back to correct them). In addition, I found that besides having less time to blog in general, I also now have less time to read books and visit other blogs. I also discovered Twitter can be really, really, REALLY, addictive and really bad if you are trying to be productive.
On the other hand, I have figured out a better way to balance my school and blogging life. So October should be better. Also, expect more posts since now I have finally gotten the hang of scheduling posts and finding time to write them.
In other news, this ‘Investigated’ post I wrote way way back in the beginning of September called Investigated – Blogging Friends has made it to the top 5 most popular posts on the blog, kicking off a “The Sunday Post – Stacking the Shelves with What’s In My Mailbox” post. I’m so proud. It is an achievement because in a month’s time it got more traffic than half the posts here. I guess lots of people want tips on how to make blogging buddies…
Oh, and I also got to meet Ally Carter… (see my recap post at Author Event Recap – Ally Carter).

I’m glad you figured out how to juggle blogging and school! And Twitter is so addictive. Especially when television shows start, I’m going to have to force myself to sign out.
I still have trouble forcing myself off Twitter, even though I can block it. It’s just so much fun to be on!
Finding a balance is ALWAYS hard!! I’m not in school anymore but I’m a working mom so I totally understand 🙂
