Saying Goodbye – Gallagher Girls

Today is a sad and happy day, depending on how you look at it. Today is the day that the very last Gallagher Girls book (according to Ally Carter) is published. Today is the day where we will start to say our goodbyes to a wonderful series, along with the awesome characters in the series like Cammie, Zach, Bex, Liz, and Macy. Today is the last day that a new book will be published telling their stories, of their struggles, and of their friendship. Today is the day we say goodbye.

I’m not good at saying goodbye, nor do I like to. At least not when I’m saying goodbye to something I love. Not when I’m saying goodbye to something I will miss. Not when I could be saying goodbye forever to something. But goodbyes are made easier when you remember the good times you had with the ones you are saying goodbye to. So here are some of my favorite moments of the Gallagher Girls up to the end of Out of Sight, Out of Time. They also happen to be things I will miss. Warning: There may will be spoilers

1. Meeting Cammie and her roommates for the first time
2. Reading their first pro and con list
3. Liz and her clumsiness. (“Oopies daisy”)
4. Cammie and her secret passageways
5. When Macy went to Gallagher for the first time
6. Cammie and Josh breaking up
7. When Cammie first met Zach at the mall (aka, when WE first met Zach)
8. The Blackthrone/Gallagher Exchange
9. Macy “stealing” a Gallagher Academy van when the alumni disk was “stolen”
10. When Cammie and Zach became a couple

There are a lot more, really, I could go on for a while. But those are just the basics.
