QOTD: Favorite elements of special editions?⁣ ⁣ I QOTD: Favorite elements of special editions?⁣
⁣
I love the additional artwork in this edition of One For My Enemy. They’re printed into the book so it’s always a little treat to see them as I go through all the sections of the novel.⁣
⁣
They’re all beautiful, but this character art near the epilogue of the book has to be my favorite.⁣
⁣
I’m honestly tempted to see if I can buy it as a print, even though I’m terrible at displaying the prints I have.⁣
⁣
Do you display your bookish artwork/swag or do you keep them in storage?⁣

QOTD: What’s your favorite series?⁣ ⁣ One of mine QOTD: What’s your favorite series?⁣
⁣
One of mine is The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken.⁣
⁣
It’s such a great YA dystopian series that has the perfect blend of an interesting plot and well written characters and found family.⁣
⁣
And I owe it a lot.⁣
⁣
It’s the book that got me back into reading in high school and also led me to discover book blogging, which eventually led me to bookstagram.⁣
⁣
But because it means so much to me, I’m kind of terrified to reread it, even though I have in the past. 😅⁣
⁣

QOTD: Do you read your special editions?⁣ ⁣ I usua QOTD: Do you read your special editions?⁣
⁣
I usually try not to read mine because I’m a bit of a walking disaster. 😅⁣
⁣
And it’s just not exactly the best reading experience to be so anxious about potentially accidently ruining a book.⁣
⁣
The edges are so pretty that I’m scared I’ll damage them with my sweaty hands.⁣
⁣
Do you have a favorite special edition?⁣

QOTD: What’s on your TBR?⁣ ⁣ I don’t usually set a QOTD: What’s on your TBR?⁣
⁣
I don’t usually set a TBR (I’m too much of a mood reader to really follow them), but I’m feeling kind of overwhelmed. And the only way to really ease that feeling is to make a plan.⁣
⁣
There’s just too many options (and deadlines) and I’m feeling the pressure (that only really exists in my head).⁣ 😅
⁣
I’ve been neglecting my physical TBR, and I have NetGalley books to read and review, and a bunch of Libby holds came in and others expected to be available soon and...⁣
⁣
And to make things worse, my mood is not cooperating and is refusing to plainly describe what I’m in the mood for.⁣
⁣
I guess it’s time to play the guessing game aka see which book I find interesting enough to read past chapter 5.⁣
⁣
How do you decide what to read?⁣

QOTD: What are some of your favorite tropes?⁣ ⁣ I QOTD: What are some of your favorite tropes?⁣
⁣
I love second chance romance and enemies (or rivals) to lovers and The Blonde Who Came in From the Cold has both.⁣
⁣
It’s a fun read, especially if you’re looking for spy themed romcom with high(er) stakes.⁣
⁣
But I enjoyed the first book, The Blonde Identity, more.⁣

QOTD: How was your March?⁣ ⁣ March is always a bit QOTD: How was your March?⁣
⁣
March is always a bit of a rollercoaster for me since it’s the last month of the fiscal year at work.⁣
⁣
But overall, it was a pretty decent month, even though I did fall into a bit of a reading slump near the end.⁣
⁣
My March:⁣
⁣
📚 read what’ll probably be my favorite book of the year (Archangel’s Eternity)⁣
⁣
🖤 met up with friends in NYC⁣
⁣
🎭 saw the Chess revival on Broadway (vocals were vocaling)⁣
⁣
💼 survived year end at work⁣
