Freaking Out About ARC August 2016

ARC August

It’s almost August and August means ARC August, a wonderful challenge hosted by Read.Sleep.Repeat. I really need this challenge this year because I might have gone a little overboard.

The Story

You see, I turned 18 a few months ago which meant I finally could legally join NetGalley. Of course, I went crazy and requested way too many titles. To be fair, I thought I would be denied and not approved so…

And then I went to BlogBoundCon and picked up a few more ARCs.

Long story short, I have a bunch of ARCs that I need to read and review before the fall because that’s when I head off to college and reading time becomes even more rare. Hence the need to read all of these ARCs ASAP. Oh, what did I get myself into?

The Books

First five books I want to read for ARC August

The other five books I want to read for ARC August

The Problem

In an ideal situation, I would be able to read all of these books. There’s just one little problem. Who am I kidding? This problem is very, very big. And there’s more than one.

First, I’m a mood(y) reader. I can’t actually read a book if I’m not in the mood to read.

Then there’s the fact that it’s a struggle for me to read one book a week. Yeah, I said it. And now I’m trying to read more than double that amount in one month. ???

If I don’t go crazy before this month is over, it’ll be a miracle.

Are you participating in ARC August?
What are your goals?
Do you have any recommendations on how I can tackle my ginormous problem?
