UPDATE: I am no longer accepting entries for this program. 🙁
want to build a snowman be a pen pal? Come on, and please say yay! I don’t know who you are or where to start. Just fill out the form to play! Lol, at my lame attempt to modify the lyrics of “Do you want to build a snowman” from Frozen. But seriously, do you want to be a pen pal?
I feel like sometimes it’s hard to meet other bloggers/book lovers online. Sometimes it seems like everyone belongs in their own little clique. And then there’s the fact that there is something exciting about getting snail mail. Email is just not the same. While email is quicker and more modern, I’m usually way more excited to get a physical letter than an email… usually. The point is, I thought it would be cool to create a pen pal system.
A pen pal is someone you will exchange letters with. You can talk about anything from book recommendations to what’s going on in your life. Hopefully, you’ll make a new friend.
Just some minor things… You should aim to send a letter for every letter you receive. Small gifts like bookmarks are okay, but try to keep the price to a minimum so your pen pal will not feel forced to spend additional money. Be nice and respectful. If you would like a new pen pal or would like to stop participating, please let me know. I wanted to make this US only, but that wouldn’t really be fair so I guess international is okay as long as someone else from your country wants to participate or some people are willing to send letters internationally. (PS. Postcards might be a cheaper alternative for my international peeps). Oh, and just one more obvious rule. Please do not share the address of your pen pal with anyone else. If you are a minor, please do not fill out the form without parent permission.
Just fill out the form if you’re interested and I’ll try to match you with a person that has similar interests. 🙂
