If you live somewhere in the Northeast of the United States, you probably have an idea what this post is about. For those of you that don’t, we’ve been hit by Winter Storm Juno, which means tons of snow (enough for a snow day). (On a side note, what did Zeus, or should I say Jupiter, do to piss off Hera, or should I say Juno, enough to collaborate with Khione to cause a huge snow storm?)
Anyways, while we wait for the Roman (and/or Greek, if they’re still having problems) gods to solve their issues and get over acting like children, here are 3 ways to survive the absurd amount of snow.
Read a lot of good books
This one is pretty shelf explanatory. What better way to pass time when you’re cooped inside than to read? For this weather, I especially recommend reading…

Four words: ice skating, ice hockey. It also happens to be one of my favs from last year. |
I think the title is enough reasoning. A little holiday centered but whatever. |
Drink a lot of hot chocolate
Because chocolate has the ability to make everything better and it’s cold outside… What better way to keep your spirits up and keep warm than some hot coco? And while you’re at it, you might as well eat some unhealthy food (like cookies and cake, for instance…).
Frolic around in the snow
Might as well us the snow to have a bit of fun. Whether it’s a snowball fight or building an ice fort, go for it. Just try not to think about having to shovel it later…
Bonus: Watch TV and movies
Why would you do this when you have books to read? But in the highly unlikely case that you run out of things to read…
Those are the ways I survive a winter storm. Or try to at least.
Do you have any other ways (or tips) to survive a snow storm?
What was your favorite way?
Sounds like the perfect day!!
